My daughter died yesterday. I have no details, so I don't know why. I am still in shock.

I received another check from the chase credit card company. I get these reward checks every month. This one was for $35. I am also adding $3 to the challenge cause the braves won 3 games in a row. I am also working on my June net worth, but I won't be able to finish that until Melrose credit Union and ING post the interest tomorrow.

I became a great grandmother yesterday. Little "Ima" was born about 9 am yesterday morning and weighs 7 lbs, 9 ounces. Mother (grandaughter) and daughter are doing well.

We had an offer on our lot last weekend. We got the lot as part of the down payment on our last spec house. It is a beautiful 2 acres with a great mountain view. It sounds like it will close pretty soon. The new owners are anxious!

I got a big rebate this month from the building supply place I deal with! Of course, I had a really big bill this month too.
I will add it to the challenge money!

We got an offer on the spec house. We accepted it, now it is just a matter of time. The bank has to come and do a bunch of inspections and closing is not until July 26th, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I stocked up on diet sprite at Inlges today. It is usually $5 a 12 pack but today is was 4-12 packs for $11. I saved $12 using my advantage card. The braves won 4 games in a row, so that is $16 I saved to add to the $20 challenge.

Yesterday, we celebrated our 36th anniversary. I cannot blieve how fast time moves. We went out to dinner last night to celebrate! We don't go out that often any more and I enjoy it more now. A ver pleasant evening and an excellent dinner. Plus the braves won 10-1!!

I haven't posted in a while, but I do know that the braves won 4 out of their last 5 games. I don't keep up with the stock market like I should, but I noticed that it went up yesterday. I will add $5 to the challenge.

I did something today that I do not do very often; I went shopping.
I went shopping for baby clothes. My oldest granddaughter is having her baby shower this weekend and I wound up buying the new baby 4 new outfits. Now, I don't really believe that babies need a lot of clothes; they out grow them too quickly.
I do admit that I did my shopping at the dollar store. I think they have some cute things, but inexpensive. I am not really being cheap. I am going to give her a check to buy the things she really needs. (like diapers and formula) Gosh, it is expensive to have a baby these days.
Did anyone besides me use cloth diapers??

Today is the first day of May. May has always been my favorite month. I guess that is why I was married in May. (But it helped that my dh proposed to me the first week of April)

I had a new heat/ac unit put in three months ago. My heat has gone out four times now, so I am not a happy camper. My heat man promised to come and work on it today. No show yet!

We had a bad storm here on Wednesday. I have never seen so much rain and hail in my life. Our yard was completely flooded and the creek came out of the banks. I thought we were going to have to leave the house for a while, but the water finally receeded.
The storm knocked out all the internet in this area and we just got it back today. That is why I have been missing for a few days!
