Happy Valentine's day!

I woke up this morning to find a hallmark card, a valentine cake, a bag of hershey kisses and a chocolate bar waiting for me on the kitchen table.
I tell my husband every year, not to get me anything.What do you do about a husband like that?
I get especially annoyed about the cost of the card. It was $6 and I feel like it is a waste of money.

What did I give him? Old cheapskate me, I gave him last year's card. (again)

    Kudos to husband, he's a keeper! We too re-use cards, using [PEE CHEE] files from long ago, easy peasy for DH to 'shop at home.' There were two small plants to nurture and plant in a patio pot when the snow finally leaves, at my place at the table and cute post-it notes on his new TV. I've 'you bake' buns proofing, lasagna ready to go in the oven, a fruit/cheese tray for two, and am still pondering dessert.

    Sweet... you could also make your own cards very cheaply....one year i took a matchstick, the wooden kind, taped it inside a card and wrote You light my fire. Smile Very simple.

    Here's another one I did....i took one of those miniature bottles of hot sauce and made a handmade note that i tied around it, something to the effect of, You make me hot. Smile
