50 years

50 years ago today I was married. There are not many on this board that can say they have been married for 50 years.
However, I have to fess up. I was married twice. The first time was for 12 years. While going thru my divorce, I met my dh. (a blind date) It was love at first sight and we were married just 5 weeks later. I don't reccommend that to everyone, but it has sure worked out! He is a wonderful husband!
We have been married for 38 years. (12 the first time.) (12 and 38 make 50)

    That is quite an achievement, Julie. Congratulations. Although for some reason I thought your anniversary was on the 13th, not the 12th. Or did you just meet your husband on the 13th?

    You are right, Robin. I was married to my husband on Friday the 13th. This is the anniversary of my first marriage, and I was married on Feb. 12th.

    Ah, okay. That's the confusion. I didn't realize the wedding dates were so close together.
