Brrr, it's cold

I think this is going to be a pretty bad winter if this is any indication. It got to a high of 37 today with cold winds, and it is only the middle of November. Winter doesn't start for a month and a half. We had snow on Halloween night. The cold bothers me a whole lot more now that I taken medication for blood thinning because of my heart attack. I am wishing for spring!

    Julie, if DH can take time off, I suggest going to a warm state for awhile it make winter fly by and so much better for your still recovering heart. A startling number of Canadians are snowbirds and abandon home for 90 days to live in a trailer park. It's really costly this year as our currency is in meltdown.

    It was pretty cold here today, too. In the mid-thirties. Makes me wish I could be a sun-bird and fly south for the winter.

    Yesterday we had a high of 24 ... Thankfully today looks to be a bit warmer, with snow in the forecast.
