Snow in October

It snowed Halloween night. We has lived here 30 years and I have never seen snow in October. When we got up the next morning, there was snow on the rooftops and on the lawn. You can still see it on top of the mountains in the distance.

    I bet it's mighty cold there. We haven't had our first frost yet and we usually have by now. I'm hoping it holds off for another couple of weeks.

    OMG, I heard 2 feet in east TN and west NC! I've never heard of snow there that early, nor so much!

    The news said around 16 inches in Maine! Ick!
