Happy Veteran's Day!

I was an army brat. My father served in both world war one (he lied about his age) and World War two. I don't know where he was in the first war, but he was in Germany and France during world war two.

    My father and (maternal) grandfather served in WWII. My dad was in the navy, stationed in the Phillipines. My grandfather was in the marines and was a "frog".

    My maternal grandfather's youngest brother was killed in the Korean war.

    My Dad landed in Normandy on D-day - it was his 20th birthday.
