A Lonely day

I took my dog to the vets this morning to get her teeth cleaned. They had to put her to sleep, so they kept here almost all day.
What a lonely day today was; being home all alone. I don't know how anyone can live without a pet. They bring so much happiness in our lives.
Well, she is home now; pretty sleepy and tired. I haven't even checked out her pearly whites yet.
Tody, I only spent $5 at the grocery store. Of course, I spent $150 on the dog, but she is certainly worth it.

    Know what you mean - in the 28 years my husband and I have been married, we were pet-less for not even a month. We've had as high as seven pets at once, but currently have 'only' our three cats, who always have a place in our laps (and quite insist on it!) Smile
