$18 a month raise!

I got a letter from Uncle Sam today. I am getting an $18 a month raise starting next month. Yay! I can almost buy 5 gallons of gas with that.
Actually, I am very grateful to be getting anything at all.
I also got a $24 check from Tim Horton, Inc. today. I love unexpected checks in the mail. It will be added to the challenge.

    Guess even that little bit will eventually add up, Ima. You've done so well with your challenge money every year. Can you believe how little interest is being paid on it? I never would have believed it to be possible. Savers are really getting the "short end of the stick".

    Hope your puppy is over her stomach problems by now.
