addition to the $20 challenge

My usual 4th Wednesday of the month check came in. From now on it is going to be $486 a month since Uncle Sam is deducting $97 a month now.
I have $7 in one dollar bills for a grand total of $493 to add to my $20 challenge.

new total $15,894.00

    Why is Uncle Sam deducting $97? I am out of the loop on that one.

    Wonderlake, I am sorry to say that I just turned 65 so I am now on medicare and they take $97 out of my social security check each month.
