I need help with pictures!

To Fern, or anyone else who posts pictures on this site, could you explain to me how to do it.
My friend took a picture of my two dogs, Holly and Molly, and she will put it up for me if someone can explain how to do it.

    Sure, first type up your entry, then click "Save and add photos."

    Browse for your photo file and add it. Then click "Save as draft."

    Once it refreshes you'll see your photo and a little numeric code with brackets next to your picture.

    Copy the code (select with your mouse and hit Ctrl-C to copy), pick where in your entry you want the photo to appear, and hit Ctrl-V to paste it.

    Paste it onto its own line so that words don't appear next to it when it's posted; that can look a little weird.

    Then hit "Save and publish."

    That I don't think you can do. But if you want to add it to this post, click "My control panel" (the little button with a picture of a lock at the very top of the screen), then "Entries." Click on this entry and it should open up for editing. Then you should be able to hit "Save and add pictures" and go through the steps listed above. Hope this makes sense!

    Sorry, I was a bit wrong, I just checked.

    to add it to this entry:

    Click the "My control panel" button.
    There is a "Browse" button at the bottom to add an image; click that and browse to your picture to add it.
    Then hit "Save as draft."
    Then copy the little code and paste it into your entry where you want the pic to appear.

    Well, there are actually two ways, and the other way will work even in a comment entry (as a link). However, it requires that you upload it to a separate image provider first. And THEN, you link the location of the image here.

    imgur is pretty good I think. I'm not sure though because I'm at work and it's blocked. It's not the only one though. It would be worth trying out photobucket, flickr, and Picasa as well.

    I just tried to add a pic to the post above using the method for the posts and you can see there is nothing there.
