I am down $93,000

I have been writing down my totals in mutual funds over the past year. Since Dec. 10th of last year, my mutual funds are down $93,000. I lost over $20,000 just yesterday. I know I keep too much in cash, but this year I am glad it is sitting in the bank, earning me a little interest.

    I feel terrible! There were several losses yesterday. Hopefully a financial bill is passed eventually, otherwise we can all kiss our retirements goodbye.

    It must be days like this that you are glad that you are a conservative investor. At least you have cash on the side. That is a big plus. I'm sure all of those who advised you to invest the majority of your money is not in the same situation as you. Smart you Ima.
