The stock market is open

That surprises me. I thought that the only person that worked on labor day was my husband. Well, so far, the market is not doing very well. I guess oil prices are a big worry. I got my electric bill on Sat. and it was $40 under budget. So, I will add that to my challenge money.

    today is an official stock market holiday. where do you see that the stock market is open?

    foreign markets might still be open but in the US we are closed.

    Not sure what you were watching, but I was flipping channels and stopped on MSNBC and they had the stock ticker running on the bottom and the indices on the top, but they were Friday's closing numbers. Perhaps that's what you saw.

    That is what I saw, Friday's number's. I saw where oil prices went down yesterday too.
