Money for the challenge!

May 25th, 2008 at 03:34 pm

I purposely stayed home all day yesterday, so saved $2 in gasoline; the braves won and I won 2 games of mahjong. Therefore, I have $5 to add to my challenge money.
Prev. total $11,6o6.00
today 5.00
new total $11,611.00

I should put $2 aside for every day that I don't go to work. I haven't been scheduled for the next four days, so....I work hourly shifts, and because I didn't make my weekly/monthly percentage in sales at Cracker Barrel, i don't get as many hours this upcoming week. Only 8 hours. Frown Whatever, eh? So, that's $8 to the Challenge.

I want to start a $20 challenge but I'm still not sure how to set it up to work for me. It might help if I understand how others are doing it. Ima, when you add $ to your $20 challenge, is this real money you are adding to an account(s), is it "hypothetical" money, or both? I know you add rebate checks, so this is $ is coming from an outside source, but what about when you add $ for "no spend" days or winning at Mah Jong? If this is real money you already have, do you actually take this money and deposit it somewhere?
