Electric bill

The electric bill came today. It was only $80. The power company announced that they are raising rates next month, but I have been well under budget each month. I have $120 left in my budget envelope, so I am adding that to my challenge money.

    Mine just came too $218.99, down from 233.22 last month. Ugh!

    gosh mine is around $360 a month but that includes gas and electric... needless to say we are using more blankets and less heat since we got that bill. But really around here that's not bad and we really only have a few cold months and you all would probably laugh if I told you what I consider a cold night, lol! Normal non heater months are around $100/month.

    I think that I will have to write this one down Ima: For once, I had an electric bill lower than yours. It was $72.49. I couldn't believe it. We've had some cooler weather though.

    Our rates went up in December and I can really tell a difference. It is disheartening to really work at trying to save on electricty and then get a bill for $244. Ugh.
