I found $60!!

I really did!! I have some large tins and I have always used them to save for different goals. Then I put a picture on them to remind me of these goals.
For example, for the past few years, my goal has been to pay off a piece of property that we bought in a small subdivision. It has fantastic views of the mountain. The subdivision was called "The ridge at Owltown"

I took a picture of the view from the property and put it on one of my tins and called it "The Ridge" money. I tried to put something in that tin everyday, even if it was only $1. I thought I had all the money out of the tin, I paid off the ridge almost a year ago.
Today, I was looking around in the cabinet and looked in the tin. 3 $20 bills were in there, so yeah, now they go into the challenge money.

    Very nice! I had a dream that I found $65 the other day. I was hoping that was a premonition dream to my future, but maybe it was to yours! Smile

    What happened to your dream. Where is the item you saved for. Did you have $60 left over afterwards and put the three 20s in there? I try to put money into a basket with a lid on it, but the problem is that I know the money is there and I reach for it when I am absolutely broke.

    I paid off the property last January, that is what the money was accumulated. The three twenties were grouped together on one side of the large tin. It just got overlooked!

    wow! i love finding money that you have forgotten. my dad used to empty his pockets of coins when i was little, and put them into containers, then every so often he would give them to me to sort out and the money would go into my bank account to save (most of the time for barbies!), once i had counted it all for the bank lady. Smile
