i got 4.8% today

I went into the bank to roll over my c.d. today. Even tho they are only paying 3.5% on c.d.'s now, they rolled mine over to a 4.8% rate. I guess they did not want to see me walk out the door with that money!!

    They said they would not give me that rate for new money. They said they are making very little percentage on their loans!! I was almost crying for them. (lol)

    I got that rate for a year. I also got the same rate at another bank for a year!!

    That was really a probably good move. We can only imagine how low these rates could go. That might look good in year or so.
