hunk a hunk a burning love!!

Today is Elvis' birthday. I was a big elvis fan when I was young. I have an Elvis' bedroom with all my old 45's and lp albums from when I was just a kid. I have Col Parker's signatures and a set of drumsticks signed by Elvis' drummer, D.J. Fontana!

    That's pretty cool, Ima! I enjoyed his movies as a kid, and even now they can be fun to watch when they come on, especially when Ann-Marget is involved. Smile

    That is cool Ima! Those sound like some very valuable items you have.
    Elvis was truly one-of-a-kind. I found him very good looking and talented; a very nice voice. I too enjoyed watching his movies when I was a kid.
    I remember when he died, so sad.

    I still have the ticket stub from when I went to his concert on Feb. 15th, 1977! I met my dh 3 days later. It was a good week for me!!

    We went to the little rent house last night and watched an Elvis special, one of those live performances things. Wow, it was good to see it again.

    I was never a major fan but always had appreciation for his showmanship. The rapture on the faces of the women in the audience just said it all!
