October

November 3rd, 2007 at 07:54 pm

October was an expensive month. We lost a week's pay going to Florida. Plus we had all that car trouble to the tune of about $2100.
Then we bought a new car and put down a big down payment. Plus I had to come up with $450 for the insurance on the new car.
Let's hope that November is a little better money wise.

Also, I noticed that when I checked out my banking accounts online, the interest rate has gone down again.

I noticed October was an especially expensive month for me too. I overdrew my account and I haven't done that for more than 10 or 12 years at least.
I've been very careful so far for November. And ironically enough, letting my cousin borrow $200 right when I got paid has actually helped. Since I took it from my spending money, I couldn't spend it. So I made myself cook and not spend frivolously until I was able to cash the check she gave me today. So I spent a whole week, and am still $120 in the positive. I took $80 from savings to cover groceries and gas this past week.
