FRugal even on vacation

I was frugal, even on my mini vacation this week. We went to Gatlinburg. I had received a coupon for $8 off any appetizer, so i ordered the potato skins for my entree. (I love them and still can only eat half of them for my meal)
So my meal was only 99 cents. (However we did splurge on a bottle of wine for dinner)
The next morning, my husband left really early to go to the car show in Pigeon Forge. The place we like to eat breakfast (pancake pantry) was about a mile away (we walk it) and it was so hot. So, I stayed at the motel and ate 2 little sugar donuts that the motel provided.
Anyway, I am adding the $8 I saved plus $2 cause the braves won the past two nights for a total of $10.

    That is a great place. They have a hill-billy golf course there that is so much fun and up a mountain. You have to be taken up to the top and work your way down. We stayed in Pigeon Forge a few years ago, this time of year and we arrived on a Saturday while the car show was on and you couldn't get across the town. It took us forever to get to our place, but it was fun. Glad to hear that you had a great time.
