Saving money is fun!!!

Most people think saving money is depriving them of "things" that will make them happy.
Actually, saving money does make me happpy. I think it is a lot of fun to watch that interest add up!!
Today I logged on to check on a new money market savings account that I just opened a month ago. I just earned $488.78 in interest this past month.

Now who doesn't think that is fun???

    I agree. Saving money and watching it grow is much more fun than being broke every month.

    I agree. Once you get out of debt, it's great to see savings grow and then you can lend yourself money. Good for you Ima.

    I LOVE seeing the numbers get bigger. For me, savings and retirement are freedom for the future & that definately makes me happy!

    I totally agree, when I started this "saving thing" lol (my friends are laughing at me because I am sooo cheap now) last year; I am like addicted I love watching my money grow and the amount of interest I earn

    Me too. It has become absolutely painful whenever I have to withdraw money from my savings. This past year 2007 has been really rough. I want to change jobs to do something I like doing more, but I'm afraid to take a pay cut. Anybody have any words of encouragement, or better yet, success stories of this?
