I woke up to a wonderful rainy day in Georgia. Our lakes and creeks are low because we have had so little rain this year.
However, Tuesday is usually my liquor run day and I didn't go last week at all.
So I was glad to see the sun finally came out this afternoon and I was able to go after all.
I stopped by Ingles and got a roast that was $2 off.
The braves won yesterday and the stock market went up, so that is $4 to add to my challenge money.
Prev. total $15,219.00
today 4.00
new total $15,223.00

I love saving and watching money grow. I don't make or have tons of money, but I find buying individual stocks and rolling over CDs exciting. I'm single, and most people I meet are such spenders. It's difficult being around people who don't know how to have fun without spending money or who don't simply want you to spend on them.
Simple things like going to the park, watching little league games, doing a jigsaw puzzle together or having a quiet candlelit meal on the back porch are all loads of fun to me. The trouble is, I can't find a man less than 45 who also thinks those things are fun.
