Happy May day!

I just want to wish everyone a happy May day. When I was a little girl and lived in Virginia, they celebrated May day at school. We even had a May pole. I don't know if they do that anymore or not.

    Happy May Day to you too. When I was in school in eastern Maryland, we had May Day. We had a pole, and guys ran naked through the girls' dorm. LOL.

    Happy May Day to all!
    I read today on about.com that May Day was a pagan holiday. It started off as a celebration of fertility!

    It's my birthday. When I was a child, my mom would put together styrofoam cups and make a handle out of a pipe cleaner. I'd decorate the cup and fill it with candy and then I would deliver it to friends/neighbors. I don't know what that has to do with May Day but that's what my mom used to have me do on my birthday.
