Braves games!!

I think I will keep up with the braves games this year. They are playing right now. I have decided that I will pay $1 to my challenge fund for every game they win. Right now, they won the first three and lost last night to their arch rivals, New York mets!! I have $3 to add.

    That's a good idea. May have to do that with the Cardinal's. But the way they've started off the year I may not have much to gain.

    When we were kids, we lived near your area of the country. I got to see Hank Aaron play in the old stadium when I was about 12 or so. I still follow the Braves and root for them although the rest of the gang here yells for the Astros. I get a kick out of it when my team beats their team. But I do root for the Astros, too, when they are in the playoffs or in the World Series. When we returned from the hurricane, everybody was upset because they couldn't get their cable fixed so they could watch the Astros in the World Series for their first time. The area restaurants and bars that had electricity and cable had huge tvs set up outside so everybody could come and watch. We got ours on before some of our neighbors.

    How fun! My best friend is a huge Braves fan, we've gone to Spring Training a couple of times even in Florida. She keeps texting me about their wins. Too bad about the Mets. Ah well there's still a lot of season ahead!
