I think I have gotten more frugal since I joined this forum and maybe it is starting to rub off on my husband.
He fixed himself a cup of hot tea this morning. Then he carefully wrapped up the tea bag and took it with him to use again this morning. That is great.
We went and looked at land yesterday after work. The roads are being graded and are pretty bad, so we never got to see the lots on the creek.
They want $175,000 to $195,000 for the creek lots, so it really doesn't matter. I could not afford one anyway.
I sure am glad I bought my two acres on the creek (I live on) when land was much more reasonible.
I have gotten more frugal

I've learned so many new ideas from everyone here and you're amazing Ima Saver with what you think of to do.
For a frugal person there is nothing more than an interesting way to earn money. By that, I mean like earning money doing something that you don't necessarily like to do. If we all just chose a chore or activity that we didn't like and gave it a $1 value to do it, I wonder if that would be incentive enough fo do it?

I have done much better with clothes shopping on shows like QVC> I see something cute and I write the number down. Then, I think. I have a closet full of clothes and I don't need anything more.
I did cave last month and ordered at $20 pair of jeans.
However, I have not bought a new pair since 2002 and I have two pairs. One has a grease stain, the other I just got a little white paint on.
That is all I have spent on clothes so far this year.

Anymore, I use those shows to learn about the items out there to buy. I learn alot about the computers and capabilities and the TV's. In the futre, should by TV break down, I'll have more knowledge to go out and buy one.
