My granddaughter is 18

I can't believe it, but my granddaughter is 18 today. She is an adult. It just seemed like yesterday when we left the hospital at 4 am. I remember that it was 8 degrees outside.
How did I get to be this darn old?? Well, at least I don't feel like I am old.

    Time does fly by! In the past two weeks, three of my grandsons had birthdays. One turned nine and two turned six. I was thinking nine sounded "old". Before I know it he will be 18, and I will wonder how the time got away.

    Our first grandchild was born on Dec 28, 2006 and was a cute little girl. Funny, I was thinking of how old we will be when she turns 18. We will be old in age, but hopefully like Ima, young at heart. Congratulations Ima. Does she live near you?

    OH! I'd wondered if you had any children or grandchildren. I couldn't remember if you had ever mentioned them or not. Now I know!LOL

    Actually, I do have one adopted daughter. She did not turn out very well and we haven't seen her in years. she had children, but lost all of them. These girls live with their other grandma.

    Are they close enough for you to be able to visit? Our little granddaughter is 55 miles away and we have been going up there on Sundays. But, then there are times that we have things to do too or they are having others there so I think that it works itself out.
