I have lost my favorites, the sites I frequent the most. a friend set it up for me on the left side of my computer. When I click on favorites, I can see them, but they are no longer on the left side of my computer. What do I do go get that back? I know nothing about computers, but mine was acting funny and wouldn't do anything, so I turned it off. When I turned it back on, No favorites!! Help!!

1. select 'View' from the menu bar at the top of Internet Explorer with your mouse. the menu bars is the part in grey that says File, Edit, View, Tools, and Help.
2. when you select 'View', the fourth item down or so should be for 'Explorer Bar'. select that with your mouse.
3. you should get another menu that gives options such as 'Favorites', 'History', etc. click 'Favorites' with your mouse.
now they should appear on the left-side of your browser like before.
