$64 a day!!

The big check from the house sale that I deposited Friday afternoon has shown up in my money market account today.
Until I take out the money to buy the next lot and start the next house, that money is earning me $64 a day.
Do you realize that I have never earned $64 a day in my life. I have never made more than minimum wage which would come to about $41.20 a day, before taxes.
When I was a waitress, I usually adveraged about $20-40 a day in tips and about $16 a day in wages.
Makes me hate to have to take it out to start the next house.
Building is slow right now, so I am going to let the money sit for a little while. Just let it sit and enjoy it!

    hehehehe!!! your money is earning more than my DH nets in a month! you know, it might almost be worth the interest you'd earn to finance a lot and pay it off when the house sells...

    $64.00 x 30 days = $1920.00 a month the first month or $23,040.00 a year.

    After the first month (depends on when your interest compounds)...THEN the interest begins to really start rolling in months two, three, ten, thirty as it begins to compound on the other interest as well.

    Wow baby you're on a roll! Don't you just love it when your interest earns interest??? Un-huh!!

    Oh, it is not my house that sold. It is a spec house that we sold and pay cash for when we built it. This was like our pay day for the year!!

    WOW! How much money is it- I'm just curious- to make $23,000? Someone could live on that. How long did you waitress? I did a long time ago too and made between $15-$40.00- except for when I worked doubles on weekends, then it was more. I worked long hours too- all the, "outs", I had to do like rolling silverware and cutting desserts. Its hard for people to realize, who have enver waitressed, how hard waitresses work for very little.
