Cook out

December 11th, 2006 at 04:53 pm

I wonder if anyone else but us, cooks out on the grill in the winter time? We even cook out if it is snowing. How else do you cook steak?
Speaking of steak, we really had a good steak dinner last night. I had a no spend day and I had bought the steak on sale, so it was a frugal day.

i grill year round, too. it's just so yummy! i suppose i could pan-fry our steaks, but it's really not the same, plus the fat doesn't drain off as well as it does on the grill.

We've grilled in the rain. As long as it isn't lightning, we grab the umbrella and go!

We also grill year round. We rarely get snow here, but lots of rain! You can broil steaks or fry, but nothing beats outdoor grill in my opinion! Oooh unless you pan-fry a filet mignon with some kind of yummy sauce over it!

My wife likes to grill in the winter. I don't. So I am the warm weather griller and my wife does the cold weather!WinkSmile

I use an indoor grill in the winter, the George Foreman one. It gets too cold here to be messing with charcoal for as long as it takes when its windy.
