Un believable??

I have been on my local forum this morning. I got an offer from ING for a free $25 if someone will open an account. I have offered it to anyone that wants it on the local forum.
So far, not one person even wants the free $25!! I find that unbelievable. No one wants free money??
It doesn't even say you have to have a minimum to open the account, I guess you could open with 1 dollar.
Now I know why this site is so unique.

I live in a town where no one cares anything about money.Not that they have any, they just don't care about it. I bet most of them don't even have a savings account. They live paycheck to paycheck. They make fun of me when I talk about money.

    2nd...if no one wants to use that ING invite, I will if there's no minimum deposit required.

    I guess I do. It has been 6 hours since I offered it on the "other forum" and not one taker. I am mailing one to rduell. She is my kind of girl.

    There is a minimum requirement for the ING $25 bonus. It requires an opening deposit of $250 to qualify. Once the account has been opened, not minimum balance need be maintained.

    Do a Google search on ING bonus deposit if you want confirmation.

    I have offered an ING referral to 3 people so far and I can't believe nobody wants one either! They just said "I'll think about it." What is there to think about....$25 for free, and a better interest rate than most local banks to boot!
    I wonder if some people are nervous about an online only bank account.
