I am over 70, but still feel like I am just 7. I love to go dancing with my wonderful husband of almost 40 years.Since we have never earned a lot of money, we have learned to take care of what we have. We live in the mountains in north georgia in a big beautiful house that my husband build and it is mortgage free. Now I am trying to save so my "younger" husband can retire someday.

Last month of the $20 challenge

Today begins the last month of the $20 challenge. I have really enjoyed it and think I have done pretty well.
I hope this forum has the challenge again, but even if they don't, I will have my own personal $20 challenge. It is amazing to me how much you can save if you really try to find everyway you can to save.

I'm with you Ima. I started my challenge in November. I just searched around the house and found change and dollars in various places so I can start. I like it because it is so easy to start and it makes you think about how you spend your money and how you can save. Which is the best way to go ING or Emigrant$ I guess that I should do both. I'm going to put the $20. in my checking account Monday and I will open up the account. Do I have to do it online or can I call it in? Do they ask you for your husband's information as well? Sorry for so many questions, but I'm really anxious to start this. I'm an older 50's person myself and I can agree on alot that you say in your comments. Anyway, I don't think you need anyone to do the $20 challenge. Mine is going to go into its own account.
