I have to share

Nothing about money, but I just went downstairs and my puppy (6 years old) is in the living room, she runs to the french doors, and there 15 feet away , is standing a mother deer with her spotted baby. So beautiful. How anyone can kill an animal is beyond me.

    I agree. Deer are so delicate looking, it's hard to believe they survive the winters. I never understood the hunt and kill mentality.

    My BF have deers often traversing in his yard. They are so beautiful and very enjoyable to watch. However, its frustrating when they eat all your plants in the garden. He bought some plants that deers do not like and they ate them anyways...

    Sadly, I live in a place where all the locals go crazy over hunting!!

    Unfortunately those lovely delicate creatures can total your car and possibly kill you if they come through the windshield or through a window. They may look delicate, but they are far stronger and bigger than they look.

    Deer are pretty strong creatures and very solid. They have a lot of power in their legs and kick like a mule, strong enough to break your leg. I've seen them jump six foot tall fences as if they were stepping over a log. And I wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of their antlers either. But they are gorgeous. My mother had twins in her garden a couple of weeks ago, they got confused by the fences so we had to herd them out the series of gates and shew them off back to the 500 acre park where they most likely live. it's only 2 blocks away.

    I don't particularly like people to kill animals for sport. Hunting for meat is okay, but I wouldn't be able to do it myself. I can't even fish. I've tried. Had to throw it back, I just couldn't stand it. I like my meat to come in those little plastic wrapped polystyrene trays.
