I am over 70, but still feel like I am just 7. I love to go dancing with my wonderful husband of almost 40 years.Since we have never earned a lot of money, we have learned to take care of what we have. We live in the mountains in north georgia in a big beautiful house that my husband build and it is mortgage free. Now I am trying to save so my "younger" husband can retire someday.
We stay home and play board games with the kids. Often we end the evening with a movie. And we don't care if we stay up until the year turns or not. I guess we like our sleep too much!!
Usually go to my best friends and her family with a couple of friends. We play games, make dinner, enjoy the evening. This year I am sick with the flu so not going.
Took the kids to work with me for a half day, took and 2 and 1/2 hour nap (no way could I stay up til midnight otherwise, LOL), watched Home Alone with my kids, and just hanging out and enjoying some wine with the hubby! Typical New Years for us. Going to bake and cook all day tomorrow with some new kitchen gadgets that DH got me for Christmas!
