A Good mail day!!

I gor $51 in the mail today. $50 was from my Chase mastercard reward card and $1 was from nfomy survey. They paid very little for keeping a running total of what you spend each month, but I am such a nerd, I like doing it.

I also got a bill on dh's surgery. This is not a bill from the hospital, but rather a bill from the surgeon and the guy that administers the oxygen. The total was a little less than $3000. I have never had surgery, but I did not think that was bad. We have to pay all of dh's bills cause we have $10,000 deductible.
What do you think about the bill?

    You should still try and negotiate with the medical providers in reducing the amount you have to pay. Just go to them and say you'll pay cash if they'll give you a discount.

    Ima, please contact each of the medical providers!! As the above person mentioned they will usually cut your bill a lot. My son's family does not have insurance either. When his wife contacted each one they usually cut bills in half.
