I just heard the news. Somewhere in New York, a 34 year old worker was trampled to death as he opened the doors at a Wal Mart store. Isn't that terrible. To think, that shopping means so much to so many, does not make sense to me.What a way to start the Christmas season. So sad.
OMG

I can't comprehend why people are so desperate to get shopping. Another reason to stay in today.

And people ask why I never even really leave the house on Black Friday...

My dh often goes but he is not an early bird and so waits for the initial trampling risk to go down before he ventures out anyway.

J/K Actually I work in the evening so the trampling risk is over with by then. But it was very busy and crazy all day. We apparently had some problems Thanksgiving night cause we opened up at Midnight but the Black Friday sales were still only at 5 am. So some people were fighting and trying to buy the stuff anyway.
