Ima saver (julie is my real name)

I am over 60, but still feel like I am just 7. I love to go dancing with my wonderful husband of almost 30 years. Since we have never earned a lot of money, we have learned to take care of what we have. We live in the mountains in north georgia in a big beautiful house that my husband build and it is mortgage free. Now I am trying to save so my "younger" husband can retire someday.

Working on the books

I am going to be working on the books this afternoon, but I wanted to add something to my challenge. I did have a no use gas day on tuesday! so that is $2 that I saved.Someone of the other forum told me that I should not talk about money so much. I think most people just don't like talking about money. So glad I have you guys!

Ha ha ha... I tend to blab about money a lot myself. Obsess at times really. Good to have a place to go where that's ok!

I seem to just complain myself. I don't really mean to it just happens. By the way don't listen to other people blabber about what you shouldn't do if I didn't talk about my finances I would never get them done.

I think for some people, topics like money can be touchy if they don't have a good grasp on their financial situation. For me, it's not necessarily touchy but it is sometimes embarrassing because I'm basically a financial mess. So that may be the issue.

And then, some people are just never going to be happy until everyone is as miserable as they are ...
