   I can phone mine in Ima. See if your phone company will allow you a one-time pay option of the phone.

   I remember once placing the electric bill in the compartment of my car intending to drop it off at the post office on my way to work. Hah. When the next month's bill arrived and I saw the charges so high,I got all indignant .... until I found the bill right where I had placed it. But,they didn't charge a late fee since I had never been late previously. Your's probably won't either.

   I've done that. Same as Nic. I found an unmailed bill in my lunchbag long after it was due. I paid the fee because it was my own darn fault. I wasn't going to argue about it. But I can tell you it never happened again after that.

   If you have to be late anyway, drop it off tomorrow during working hours and you can ask if they will waive the fee for such a rare thing (for you).

   Get on autopay. Saves a lot of headaches.

   True, Harley. The only monthly bills that I don't have on auto-pay are the credit cards and the mortgage. Since those are more substantial amounts (and the CCs aren't the same each month) I like to handle those manually. Everything else gets paid automatically.

   I think they just call that .... life. Sometimes we brain fart (pardon my french) and it costs us money!
