snowed in

We are snowed in, today. We only have an inch or two, but the roads are slick. Dh is happy as a clam out working on his hot rod. Now, I know why he had gas heat put in this garage when he built it.
We had dinner at home last night and probably will again tonight. I am glad I had some meat in the freezer (dh does not like to eat any meat that has been frozen, but he will tonight)
Looks like a no spend day for sure!

    I worked as a waittress and all of our meat was frozen. Does your husband realize that when he eats at restaurants? They buy boxes of frozen steaks. Maybe if you make like a casserole and hide the meat in there - he won't notice as much.

    I quite understand when you talk about workaholic people. My husband never stops. He always has to be doing something.

    I can't wait till I get my freezer so that I can start storing more meat. That is one of my main reasons for getting one. We aren't big on veggies and I don't make pies like my grandma. Tell him that it was a freak accident that it was frozen and that you don't want to waste. He'll love the not waste part.
