Hearts, anyone??

February 8th, 2008 at 04:45 pm

Has anyone on this forum ever played a game called "Hearts"??
We have a church that offers classes four times a year to people who are 50 and over. I have taken the bridge class several times, but they are not offering it the next semester. Instead they are offering a game called "Hearts"
Has anyone on here played the game? I am assuming that it is a card game? Did you like it??

I've played the game a few times. Now, I've never played Bridge, so I can't compare the two, but I've always enjoyed playing Hearts. There are online versions if you google them. That way you could get a quick tutorial to see if you would like the game. Hope that helps.

Yeah, I've played it before. Don't remember the specifics, but I remember it was fun!

That is good enough for me. I know it will NOT be as hard as bridge, but I love playing cards!

Hearts is fun, makes you think, a little bit. From what I understand, Bridge is VERY hard to learn and/or master. Most Bridge players have been playing for years and years and years.

Bridge is pretty easy to play, but hard to learn how to bid!

It's been a long time, but I've played it. I would love to learn brdige, but it seems so hard to me. I think Go Fish is about all my mind can handle.....

I used to play Hearts all the time when I was about twelve. It was fun, and not difficult. Used to play Canasta a lot too.
