Pinecone

January 13th, 2008 at 07:32 pm

I did a very short survey for Pinecone,so I was not sure if I would be paid or not. Sometimes you take a survey to qualify.
But sure enought, I got a check for $5 in the mail yesterday. They are so prompt. I also saved $4 using some coupons I had at the grocery store, so I have $9 to add to my challenge money!
Prev. total $1038.00
today 9.00
new total $1047.00

I like PineCone! I am going to keep track this year and see how many I am ask to do.I think last year I did between 30-40 surveys for them. So far, this year I have only been asked to do one.

    Have a nice day!

Thank you, I have not kept track of my pinecone survey either. That is a good idea to keep track.

I like Pinecone as well. I do not give myself a weekly allowance so I use my pinecone survey money as my fun money.

I was a Pinecone member 9-1/2 months last year and I made $85. I kept track on a piece of paper in my tax file because I'm going to declare it as Misc. Income on my tax return.

There is an area that has 3 green rectangular boses. One says survey history. If you click on there it will tell you how many you did. Although I did notice that a few were missing from there in March. I do keep a list of all of them though.

I apparently not in a desirable demographic. I've only gotten 3-4 Pinecone surveys total. And I was with MySurvey.com for a while. My wife and I signed up at the same time. She got many more invites and for much higher point value than me. She had over 1,000 points while I had just a couple hundred. They finally dropped me from their panel, saying only 1 member per household was permitted. They kept my wife, though.

I get a lot more invites from mysurvey than my husband does, Steve! They mostly want the person that does the primary grocery shopping!!

Julie - Very few of the surveys we got had anything to do with groceries. In fact, there have been several that my wife had to have me complete because they were about personal finance, banking, investments, cars, etc. Besides, I do quite a bit of the grocery shopping, probably half or more.

Amber - I think what you get from Pinecone depends on when you signed up. I get $5 from them but not everyone does.

I get $3 a survey also. I've been surprised at how many surveys I get a month. I probably do an average of 3 each month, maybe more. I like having that little bit of extra income.

Disneysteve - I'll be happy to trade my Pinecone survey pay for your medical survey pay! Big Grin

scfr - Let me think about it..... NO.

Funny that I have a dozen companies willing to pay me $100/hour and more to do their surveys but I can't get Pinecone to give me a lousy 5 bucks for 20 minutes.
