I thought I lost my keys!

I thought I lost my car keys today. I always carry two sets luckily. They are on those keychains that unlock the doors and open the hatch (trunk) for you.
I alway use key chain #1 and I went grocery shopping. When I got into the car to come home, I could only find key #2. I dumped my purse, went back into the store, looked all around the ground, basket, etc.
Finally, I found the key when I was unpacking the groceries. The wind was blowing real hard and my purse tipped over a little. The key fell into a bag of groceries and it was the last thing I unpacked when I got home. I have never lost my car keys in my life.
The good news was that I saved $6 using my Ingles advantage card.

    That's a good thought about always carrying back-up keys. There have been a few occasions where I either misplaced my keys or locked myself out with the keys still in the car, but my valet key, which I always carry in my wallet, has been my great salvation.

    We, too, try to have spare keys in our possession since I locked them in the car a very long time ago. You never know when you will need it! I often put my key in my pocket while shopping because I have accidently locked the purse in the car with the keys and the spare is in the purse. Sheesh. The other thing that worries me is that the battery thingy in some of our keys will die and I won't have another one. Has happened with DS. So I try to have more than one of those, too. I'm glad you found your keys!
