Don't watch the stock market today!!

It is too depressing. The dow is down almost 300 points right now.
On the bright side, the market was up yesterday, I walked a mile and did my 20 flights of stairs. I can add $3 to my challenge money.

    I just looked, and the DOW is down 365 points and the NASDAQ is down 63 points! Yikes! Scary! Hopefully, tomorrow will look like a buyers market, and it will recover a little.

    I had to look Ima: Because I wanted to buy more retirement shares at a lower cost. You know, buy low, sell high. All you have to do is sell high. By, the way, I did manage to buy. This stuff is temporary Ima. It only counts when you buy or sell.

    Yeah, I saw it in the news... and then checked my retirement fund. Now a whole lot that can be done about it... but I looked. Big Grin

    Remember that the point drop isn't what matters. It's the percentages that matter. When Black Monday happened in 1987, the Dow had peaked at 2,700. This past week, it hit a high of 14,000. A 300+ point drop means a whole lot less at 14,000 than it would at 2,700.
