This little piggy didn't go to market!

I wanted to go to town today, but I didn't. It is pretty and sunny out, but oh so windy! I just stayed home and walked on my treadmill.
So it is a no spend day, which is a good thing. Since I am saving money in gas today, I can add that total to my challenge money. I have my challenge deposit all ready to go into my savings account tomorrow. Adding that dollar to my challenge money brings me to $4422.00 for the year.

    When you stop to think about it, it is amazing how not spending leads to saving. I used to think that it was a silly idea: what I need today, I'll still need tomorrow, but if you can save gas money (or bus fare in my case), and avoid any kind of impulse shopping, you are ahead of the game.

    Sometimes when it comes to frugality, I think about how much farther ahead we are than those who spend and spend. Of course, they wouldn't see it that way. It seems I appreciate what I have more than some of my friends who visit the mall every week.
