What would you eat?

Alan is my hometime guy that won 1st place on the tv show, "Alone" by lasting 56 days out in the wilderness all alone. He is back in Blairsville now and was on the front page of our weekly paper.
What was the first "real" food that he ate once he was back in civilization? Peanut butter.

What would be your 1st choice after 56 days? Mine would be M & M's!!

    I once had surgery on my jaw and was wired shut for four weeks. I wanted a hamburger!

    I don't know. Whenever I am ill, it's always a hamburger I crave when I can eat again. I can see wanting PB - protein + fat, but I think I would want something more substantial.

    Pretty much anytime we go away as soon as we get home the first thing I have is our yummy coffee! (Except if it's in the evening). Other than that, a peanut butter sandwich

    Impossible to say. I think you crave what you really miss, so if i was thirsty, i might be craving a certain drink instead of food. Or if i was not getting salt in my diet, i might crave potato chips. it could be anything.

    I had some intestinal surgery once and didn't eat for weeks (I was provided nutrition thru a pik line.) The first food I remember craving was a sliced deli turkey sandwich on wonderbread with mayo.....something I totAlly would turn my nose up at normally, but it was appealing back then.

    After being in hospital last year and only being allowed a liquid diet near the end of my stay, fed through a tube before that, I wanted anything solid. Toast was a treat.
