New dollar store

A new dollar store just opened up the road from me, yesterday. I don't do much shopping at dollar stores, except for cards and envelopes.
This one carries a lot of groceries and I checked the prices. They are much cheaper on most items. I will definately shop there more often, plus they are 6 miles closer than the dollar store by Ingles. The Ingles one is Family dollar and the one is Dollar General. Hubby and I went there last night and spent $16 on things we have been needing.

I went to Ingles today and saved $5 using my advantage card, so I will add that to the $20 challenge.

    Julie, I remember one time you mention a stomach acid medicine you take. One of the dollar stores here sells it about one third the price I see it any where else. Brand name. This is at one of those stores that sells probably half their items for $1. Is that the kind of dollar store openning near you?

    A dollar store near me is the only place I can find my fizzy water that helps curb me from drinking so much soda.
