Bradford pear trees

The bradford pear trees are all blooming now and they are so pretty. It is starting to feel like spring.
Had to take dh to the doctor yesterday. He thinks he has gout in his big toe and it is killing him. He got some pills, but they have not helped him yet.

The stock market went up 3 days in a row and the braves won their last two games (8 out of 9 games) so that is $5 to add to the challenge.

    We lost our Bradford pear 6 years ago during the ice storm. It was so beautiful. Sorry about DH's toe. Hope it gets better.

    Yeah, a landscape designer once steered me away from getting a Bradford pear because their structure is so delicate and susceptible to storm damage. I ended up with a red maple but still longed for the Bradford pear! No longer have that house so it doesn't matter any more.
