What is the $20 challenge? I've seen several posts on it, but the time I spent a few minutes looking for its source, I didn't find it.

Do you think you'll break 10K by December 31st?

Wino, the $20 challenge is something that Nate (owner of saving advice) started about 6 years ago.
You start with $20 and add to it anyway you can. I pay myself $2 for a no use gas day; $1 when the braves win: whatever money I saved using my Ingles advantage card grocery card; rebates, any random unexpected checks, pinecone checks; change in a change jar; coupons and so on and so on. You really set your own rules. I even save every one of my social security checks. ($504 a month)

I do expect to hit over $10,000 this year, but that is not as good as I have done some years.
