I hit the $20,000 mark!

Yesterday, I hit the $20,000 mark in my $20 challenge. I had set my goal this year for $17,000 cause the economy is doing so poorly. This is the first year in 27 years of living here, that my husband did not get a custom house to build. Instead, he built a spec house and luckily, he sold it to the first couple that looked at it.
I am very happy to reach this goal and beyond plus, I still have 26 days to add to it!

    Actually, I put the money in ING, which was paying 1.15%, but just lowered to .95%, less than 1 per cent.

    Wow - Congrats!! I was just reminded of you while reading (and I forgot who wrote the post) about 'Wow, you're rich'. It reminded me of an old story of yours talking to the waitress at the restaruant that you and your husband frequent. Do you still go there? Do you still give advice? LOL - I wondered if she followed any of it Smile
