Even toilet paper has gone up.

I ran to the grocery store today to get something for dinner tonight. It seems like the price of everything has gone up lately. I got a 4 pack of cottonelle toilet paper. The price was now $3.76 for a four pack; that is almost $1 a roll. Luckily, I had a coupon for $2.50 off. With that, and my Ingles card, I saved $6 on my small purchase. The braves won last night and again today, so that is $8 for my $20 challenge.

    Here I buy Quilton 3ply toilet paper for 50c roll but the last four bulk packs I got were only 45c a roll. I have enough now for six months as each bulk pack has either 20 or 24 rolls in each. They have been on special of late and we don't have coupons here.

    Shop Rite has Charmin Ultra Strong or Ultra Soft, 24 pak, on sale for .37 each this week.

    If that is true, I am screwed. I think anything over $.25 a roll is highway robbery. :-/

    Ima, although the "experts" claim we don't have inflation, I have noticed about everything has gone up. Some newscaster is predicting inflation rising sharply after the first of July when the US has to either borrow money at high interest rates, or stop spending. I'm trying to get a little stockpile of every day items as they go on sale so I can keep from buying higher priced items until they go back on sale.

    I bought garbage bags a few days ago. The first time I'd bought any in 2+ years. I stood there with my mouth gaping open at the prices.
