Looking at lots!

Yesterday, we spent most of the day driving around and looking for residental lots for sale. I can't believe it, but for the 1st time in 26 years, my dh does not have a house lined up to build.
He is NOT the kind that can sit around, so he wants to build a spec house.
I am kind of against it, because nothing is selling here. People only want bargains and I would hate to use our money to build a house, to just give away.
The stock market did go up on Friday; the braves did win on Saturday and I saved $3 using my Ingles advantage card today, for a total of $5 to add to the challenge.

    No, he has never built an apartment house. We really don't have any here, except for the low income rental apartments that the government build.

    As you said, nothing is selling around here. A spec house would be a risky investment right now.

    Ima, I so wish that your husband could come up here and build us a house!! We are in northeastern NC so it'll be too far for you, but that would be so cool if it could happen.

    Oops, I meant to say northwestern NC, the mountains, not the coast... but still too far from you in GA, I believe. I have the perfect piece of land that I could buy for your husband to build us our dream home on. Smile Oh, well.... if only.
