QVC

i was bored yesterday and turned on QVC. (the shopping program) I found myself writing down the numbers on several garments that looked really cute on the model.
I use to order a lot of things from QVC but I have broken that habit. I saw some really cute blouses yesterday, but they were all long sleeves. I had to remind myself that I NEVER wear long sleeves, I am always too hot. I don't spend any time outside in the winter, so I have plenty of blouses that I seldom ever wear.
SoI had a NSD and used no gas also.($2) The braves won ($1) and the stock market went up. ($1) That is $4 to add to my $20 challenge.

    I'm like you Ima, I hate long sleeves. I own a few, but they very, very rarely get worn.

    I am the total opposite, I hate short sleeves.

    I have been watching QVC this weekend because they are having "Christmas in July" and I have scored some decent buys, IMO. And got a start on my Christmas shopping to boot! :-)

    I have to remind myself that this time it will not be different, I don't wear/use/eat/consume x, don't bother buying it.

    I own both short and long sleeves, but usually when I wear the short sleeves, I wear a jacket along with it. I feel very naked with no sleeves. Smile

    i get too hot and sweaty with sleeves too - but in winter i don't mind long sleeved things. unfortunately 75% of our year is 'hot and sweaty' and the other 25% i spend going 'i should get something with long sleeves'. by the time i get around to it, i've braved the worst of winter with two layers of tshirts and cardigans Smile

    Hey, your blog is great but what is the $20 Challenge? I tried to find out what it is on your page but couldn't quite make it out. Looks like a great thing though.

    I'm trying to live a cash only life. I only have $770 left to pay on credit and my car was paid for last month, finally! Your blog is a nice inspiration.

    I have been using QVC as a replacement for shopping. I don't go as far as writing down #s, but I am weaker when I hold an item and am supposed to put it down before I check out. I did put a water bottle cooler and a lunch sack back at CVS yesterday.
    I told myself that I could take my lunch everywhere.
    Then I said, when you start taking your lunch, then you can buy the bag. Go you!

    I hate long sleeves, too, because of my hot flashes. I picked one up at Goodwill today and had to remind myself that, although it was very cute and the price was right, I wouldn't wear it outside of the house.
